Shale shaker

Commonly called as “shale shaker”, a vibrating device for screening solids from a circulating drilling fluids. Its primary purpose is to remove as many solids as possible without removing excessive amounts of drilling fluids.

FSI Shaker

Fluid Systems, Inc. is one of the proponents of the Linear Motion Shaker which has become the principal type of shale shaker in use on drilling rigs today. The vibration induced by the linear motion shale shaker by means of a pair of eccentric(or eccentrically weighted) shafts turning in opposite directions allows for the development of straight line or linear motion and the ability to run the shale shaker bed or screen basket in a positive (uphill) increase.
FSI shale shaker was designed with High “G” Force , more screening area , small footprint , rugged and reliable , high performance, quick screen panel change, no lubrication and low noise.

FSI Shale shakers Exceptional reliability

Simplicity is the essence of every FSI shaker design. Permanently sealed vibrators make lubrication systems totally unnecessary. Low 80dB motor vibration eliminates the need for hearing protection. Each of the unit’s two pre-tensioned screen panels can be installed or replaced independently of each other. Replacement takes less than three minutes and requires only a light to medium-weight hammer.

FSI shale shaker has the lowest maintenance cost.

FSI equipment have the lowest operational and maintenance costs in the industry. Routine maintenance is extremely minimal. Simple visual checks of screen panels, deck rubbers, inflation of air spring  assemblies and quarterly torque checks of the screen vibrator motor bolts are all that is required.
